LittleReads is a parent-child co-play learning tool designed around the Doman whole-word recognition method and the CSIT neurocognitive framework.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP, 2026) recommends no solo screen time for children under 18 months. LittleReads is designed to operate differently:
For children under 6 months, only High Contrast visual mode should be used. For children under 18 months, the app enforces a 60-second session maximum.
LittleReads v1.0 is a research prototype. It is not a substitute for professional developmental advice. Consult your pediatrician if you have any concerns about your child's development.
All data stays on your device. No information about your baby is transmitted anywhere.
Each language = a separate daily session. Up to 3 sessions of 30-60 seconds.
Short, joyful sessions. Whole-word recognition. Any language. Always with you.
